INTRODUCTION OF TAMARA USTENKO

 Tamara Ustenko comes from Ukraine and is a student at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. At the university, she is engaged in research work on the prospects for the use of textile waste recycling innovative technologies in Ukraine and she has already published two research papers on this topic.  Tamara is committed to the promotion of conscious consumption and inclusion in Ukraine.

Her ISA project is addressing the problem of textile waste environmental pollution. To deal with these problems, Tamara will promote sustainable fashion in Ukraine by opening an eco-social atelier for creating designer clothes from textile offcuts and biomaterials. With her project, she will support two SDG goals: 12- responsible consumption and production; and 8- decent work and economic growth.
