Introduction of Alexander Sakyiama Darko

Alexander Sakyiama Darko is an IT High school teacher from Ghana. He hosts a project on educating girls and empowering them with professional skills. He graduated in Information and Communication Technology and has a Professional Diploma in Systems Engineering. He has been teaching for 16 years, currently at the Senior High school in Swedru. Since 2010 he has been working for CAMFED promoting girl child education. He has a passion for topics on gender equality, IT and girl child education.

His ISA project goal is, designing a girl child (11 – 20 years) education and mentorship program with the use of IT systems. He seeks to use Information Technology to empower female students in Ghana. His aim is to broaden his horizon, learn about other cultures, teaching methods and how gender equality is addressed in other countries and in Germany in particular.
