Tekla Amutenya from Namibia, is a researcher, educator, and the founder of Tek-tenya Investments. With a decade in academia and sustainability education, she’s dedicated to empowering businesses across industries in sustainable entrepreneurship. She is presently a lecturer at the Namibia University of Science and Technology.

 

 

 

Her ISA project focuses on Evaluating Sustainability Implementation in Namibian Companies’ Logistics and Supply Chains, aiming to bolster global sustainable development efforts and combat climate change. The emphasis is on nurturing sustainable practices and minimizing environmental footprints in business operations. Key objectives include promoting sustainable sourcing and procurement through eco-friendly suppliers and reducing environmental impact. Through dynamic channels like training, conferences, workshops, and research, she will ignite stakeholder involvement and instil a robust sustainability ethos in Namibia’s business landscape.
