Program:

Energy is a fundamental prerequisite for economic and social development. Its access should be more affordable, reliable, sustainable and secure for all. But what are clean energy sources and how can excess energy be stored or transported? Clean energy is a key factor for environmental and climate protection. The energy system transformation is also a central component of German climate protection policy and thus also serves the immediate measures to combat climate change and its effects, climate protection as well as the more responsible consumption of finite resources such as fossil fuels.

Aurubis SDG-Workshop Series: In the course of a year, 4 international workshops (German/English) will be held on selected SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). These workshops will be thematically multifaceted and have a clear relation to internationally relevant questions. The SDG workshop series is carried out within the framework of the scholarship programme of the International Sustainability Academy (ISA) and is supported by Aurubis AG. The ISA is a project of the Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald Lv. Hamburg e. V. and is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
