INTRODUCTION OF AYUKETAH PEARL OBEN

“It is a great delight for me to take part in ISA to bring about impactful and lasting changes in my community and beyond. This program would permit me to interact with multiple sectors of life to ensure sustainable development in low and middle-income countries, and the world at large.”

Ayuketah Pearl Oben is a dynamic, young medical doctor from Cameroon, soon after 5 years of clinical practice, passionate about youths and vulnerable groups. She is the founder of Medinnovint (Medicine Innovation International) which aims towards innovative and impactful activities for the best health outcomes. She also holds a Master’s in Public Health and is currently doing a post-graduate Diploma in medical law.

Her project at ISA is geared towards improving medicolegal services, especially in cases of physical and/or sexual assault through phone and internet platforms. Together with her team, she intends to ensure a sustainable system providing effective and timely communication amongst diverse healthcare providers and specialities, the judiciary, and assaulted persons in her country. This would permit greater efficiency in caring for the physical, mental, and social well-being of affected individuals while rendering justice and curbing crime.
